Job Description

    Job Purpose 

    The Role is expected to Manage & Deliver Application Infrastructure Services for all Core Banking Projects at Onsite and Manage the end-to-end Infrastructure implementation, operation and maintenance of application infrastructure services that meet application requirements and business needs process.

    Job Duties & responsibilities
    1. Facilitate, Drive & Lead Application Infrastructure Team Onshore / Offshore to deliver the Approved Infrastructure solution Designed.
    2. Work with Enterprise solution architect to design solutions and align to enterprise needs and implement
    3. Manage all activities end-to-end to deliver the project (from scoping to implementation) to agreed parameters
    4. Ensure the deliveries are adhered to standards and processes related to infra setup, application deployment
    5. To mentor team to Adhere Bank Policies and follow best practices related to Application Recommended for Infra Parameters
    6. Perform the Scrum Master role (where required) and lead the Agile team in their sprint deliveries
    7. Collaborate with project team members from various domains to monitor, develop and execute project plans and associated project content.
    8. Ability to manage multiple work-streams concurrently and effectively resolve issues or conflicts
    9. Good communication skills, negotiation skills and stakeholder management
    10. Adhere to organizational guidelines and process during deliver
    11. Actively monitor and report progress to all stakeholders in a timely manner by using a variety of formal communication channels
    12. Deal with all project related escalations, and seek input and assistance from appropriate channels to resolve in a timely manner


    Required Experience
    1. Minimum 12 - 17 years of experience and out of which minimum 5+ years of Production Management experience in CORE Banking
    2. Managed Finacle 10.x/11.x and multi-countries and OPEN systems production environment
    3. Finacle Application environment servers run in combination of IBM AIX, VPC, OpenShift, Kafka, Redis, Postgres we need the candidate to have good knowledge in various cloud technology to support the infrastructure for Optimization.
    • Working knowledge on Software Configuration Mgmt, Quality Control Mgmt, Version Control Mgmt (Github, bitbucket, jetkins)
    • Scripting Language Java, Javascript, Finacle Script
    • Software Configuration Mgmt., Quality Control Mgmt, Version Control Mgmt
    • Operating System - AIX / Linux / VM / Cloud
    • Database – Oracle / Postgres / EDB/ Redis
    • Application Servers – IBM WebSphere, JBoss
    • Middleware technology – MQ, File transfers
    • Observability - experience using and optimizing monitoring and trending systems (Prometheus, Grafana), log aggregation systems (ELK, Splunk) and their agents
    • Scheduling software
    • Good to have experience in Hadoop, Cloud (VPC/AWS)
    • Exposure and familiarity with Cloud technology (Docker, Kubernetes) and deployment (Public, hybrid) model
    4. Hands on Experience in Finacle Application (CoreBanking) Server Capacity Monitoring and Optimization
    5. Good level of command over production Infra; performance monitoring and reporting tools
    6. Good working experience in Elasticsearch, Logstash, Grafana/ Kibana, AppDynamics etc.
    7. Demonstrate ownership and responsibility in all assignments
    8. Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux/Shell/Python scripting
    9. SRE. Implement Site Reliability Engineering principles regarding performance, reliability, monitoring, alerting in Production environment
