Job Description

    Get to Know the Team:
    The Grab Support tech team is a passionate team responsible for the user support experience at scale. We make an impact by empowering our internal users to serve consumers and partners across the region. Our team is made up of cross-functional team members across product, engineering, design, data science, analytics, and business.
    Based in Grab’s headquarters in Singapore, we are looking for experienced individuals who are user-centric and data driven, able to think holistically and creatively, communicate well and are great team players.
    We like creative hustlers, people who can think outside the box, motivate and get stuff done even if it seems impossible. We work fast, push the boundaries and try new things. Sometimes they don’t work, so we embrace failure and a culture of lifelong learning.
    You will:
    • Own & drive the strategy and product roadmap for your problem space
    • Internally champion your strategy and obtain alignment
    • Gather & document product requirements crisply and work with your cross-functional team members to execute them
    • Define success criteria and tracking metrics that measure the impact of your work against agreed objectives.
    Day-to-Day Activities:
    • You develop and maintain user support platforms that empower our internal users to support consumers and partners across the region
    • You collaborate with engineering and design to develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog, and execute on delivering great end-user and internal user experiences
    • You define and communicate product requirements and specifications by thinking creatively and rigorously about problem-solving
    • You partner with business counterparts and other stakeholders on well-defined go-to-market plans
    • You launch minimum lovable products based on quantitative data and a qualitative understanding of user behaviour
    • You define success metrics and consistently measure the impact of your work

Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience as a product manager in technology or technology platforms.
    • Demonstrated ability to independently operate in a complex and ambiguous environment, constructing clear strategies and roadmaps supported by analysis and data from loosely defined priorities and goals.
    • Demonstrated success in creating and managing products through full software product lifecycle including employment of design thinking in synthesizing requirements, inclusion of customer centricity into every stage of product life cycle, leading by influence of a large, culturally diverse, and distributed team, data-driven decision making across the product lifecycle and demonstrated success in managing products from concept to retirement.
    • Degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, business finance, economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies to all levels from executive leadership to engineering and operations.
    • Passion for the tech industry and building delightful product experiences with an ownership mindset to learn, influence, and not shy away from hard stuff to meet objectives
    • Be a team player, live our values, and contribute to broader objectives of Grab to achieve our mission to create economic empowerment for the people of Southeast Asia
